Rewind Exploit :
If you rewind a race when the computer cars are not single file, any cars not in the optimum line for that stretch often will do a sharp S-swerve to the optimum line once the race resumes. Not only does this cause a slight dip in their speed, but can occasionally result in collisions. Both of these outcomes provide passing opportunities for you -- just watch out for opposing traffic when exploiting this mess.
