Mutators :
Perform the following actions to unlock Mutators These built-in mods affect gameplay.

• Big Explosions - (Any Mode) Unlock the Hail Mary ribbon 100 times
• Big Head - (Horde Mode) Unlock the Gold Horder medal
• Comet - (Versus Mode) unlock the Gold Shock Trooper medal
• Enemy Regeneration - (Arcade Mode) unlock the Silver Aficionado medal
• Flower Blood - (Arcade Mode) unlock the Silver King of Cog medal
• Friendly Fire - (Co-op Campaign) complete the co-op campaign with four players
• Infinite Ammo - (Horde Mode) unlock the Combat Engineer ribbon 100 times
• Instagib Melee - (Beast Mode) play as a Wretch and score 200 kills
• Laugh Track - (Any Mode) Unlock the Bronze Tour of Duty, For the Horde, I’m a Beast, and Warmonger Medals
• Must Active Reload - (Any Mode) Unlock the Silver Active Reloader medal
• Pinata - (Beast Mode) unlock the Gold Investor medal
• Super Reload - (Versus Mode) unlock the Bronze Master at Arms medal
• Vampire - (Versus Mode) unlock the Executioner ribbon 100 times

Insane Difficulty
Beat the game on ANY difficulty (even Casual) to unlock Insane difficulty.

Liquid Metal Weapon Skins
Perform the following actions to unlock the Liquid Metal Skins:

• Liquid Metal Black Lancer, Hammerburst, Sawed-Off, Retro-Lancer, Gnasher - Purchase the Gears of War 3 Season Pass
• Liquid Metal White Lancer, Hammerburst, Sawed-Off, Retro-Lancer, Gnasher - Epic employee exclusive
• Liquid Metal Green Lancer, Hammerburst, Sawed-Off, Retro-Lancer, Gnasher - The Liquid Metal weapons are Microsoft Employee exclusives, however Microsoft said that they wanted the players to have access to them as well and will be available at a later date. No word on price or how to unlock when the time comes for the weapon skins to be released.

Team Insignia Weapon Skins :
Perform the following actions to unlock the Team Insignia weapon skins:

• Team Insignia Retro Lancer - Get the Bronze Veteran Medal (Play 100 Matches)
• Team Insignia Lancer - Get the Silver Veteran Medal (Play 200 Matches)
• Team Insignia Hammerburst - Get the Gold Veteran Medal (Play 300 Matches)
• Team Insignia Shotgun Set - Get the Onyx Veteran Medal (Play 400 Matches)

Crimson Omen Weapon Skins :
You can unlock the Crimson Omen weapon skins by performing the following actions

• Crimson Omen Lancer - Unlocked with purchase of 12 + 2 XBL Gold Card Promotion
• Crimson Omen Hammerburst - Get 'Welcome to Beast' (Survive all 12 waves of Beast mode)
• Crimson Omen Retro Lancer - Get 'Welcome to Horde' (Survive the first 10 waves of Horde mode)
• Crimson Omen Gnasher - Get 'Welcome to Versus' (Kill 10 enemies in Team Deathmatch)
• Crimson Omen Sawed-Off - Get 'Welcome to Arcade' (Complete 5 Arcade Campaign chapters in co-op)

Infected Omen Skins :
The following Infected Omen Skins are included with the Gears of War 3 Epic Edition, Limited Edition Console and Limited Edition Controller.

• Infected Omen Lancer
• Infected Omen Hammerburst
• Infected Omen Retro Lancer
• Infected Omen Gnasher
• Infected Omen Sawed-Off

Gold Omen Skin :
Reach level 100 in Gears of War 3 to unlock the Gold Omen skin (gold with red highlights).

Onyx Weapon Skins :
Get 6,000 kills with any of the five starter weapons to unlock the Onyx medal and an Onyx skin for that weapon.

• Onyx Lancer - Get 6000 kills with the Lancer
• Onyx Hammerburst - Get 6000 kills with the Hammerburst
• Onyx Retro Lancer - Get 6000 kills with the Retro Lancer
• Onyx Gnasher - Get 6000 kills with the Gnasher
• Onyx Sawed-Off - Get 6000 kills with the Sawed-Off

Beta Unlockables (Flaming Skins) :
Perform the following actions to unlock weapons and more in the Gears of War 3 Beta. Note: Some unlockables will be immediately unlocked for use in the full Gears of War 3 game, while others have additional requirements that make them available after the Beta.

• Flaming Hammerburst - Complete one match by Sunday, April 24
• Flaming Lancer - Complete one match during the week of April 25
• Flaming Sawed-Off Shotgun - Complete one match during the week of May 2
• Flaming Gnasher Shotgun - Complete one match during the week of May 9
• Beta Tester Medal - Complete one match in the Beta
• Thrashball Cole - Complete 50 matches in any game type to unlock for the Beta / To permanently unlock, complete 10 matches as Thrashball Cole during the Beta
• Gold-Plated Retro Lancer - Complete 90 matches in any game type to unlock for the Beta / To permanently unlock, score 100 kills with the Gold-Plated Retro Lancer during the Beta
